Alex started working in financial services at the age of 19 following completion of his A-Level’s. Whilst gaining experience in an IFA practice from an administrative perspective, he studied in his spare time, achieving the CII Certificate in Mortgage Advice and the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning within 18 months. He has since gone on to obtain the CII’s Certificate in Advanced Mortgage Advice, Certificate in Equity Release and Award in Long Term Care Insurance. He is aiming to achieve chartered status in the future through continuing his professional development by sitting further qualifications.

Alex then joined Charles Derby which later rebranded to Quilter Financial Advisers as a Financial Planning Consultant before joining Beaufort Financial.

Away from the office

In his spare time, Alex enjoys travelling and has an interest in a wide range of sports, playing rugby for Pembroke RFC having previously represented Tenby, Pembrokeshire Youth, Scarlets West U16’s and Welsh Academicals U19.
