Beaufort Financial Charity Quiz

On the evening of 2 May, Beaufort Financial hosted a Charity Quiz in Reading. The quiz evening was in aid of Berkshire Community Foundation (BCF), a charitable grant-maker supporting hundreds of charities and voluntary organisations across Berkshire.

All the proceeds from the evening were donated to BCF’s forthcoming campaign, ‘BerkshireUncovered’; aiming to help combat the growing issue of housing and homelessness, barriers to work, and mental health issues in Berkshire.

Twelve fantastic local businesses submitted a team and joined us for the evening which consisted of five fun quiz rounds led by Beaufort Financial’s very own Chairman, Simon Goldthorpe. The businesses helped to raise more than £2000 for BCF and was an excellent way to bring the local Reading business community together to support an important cause.

We are delighted to support the Berkshire Community Foundation, which does such amazing work in and around the Reading area. It has been a privilege to see the work they have done and their plans for the year ahead. Thank you to all the professionals who have helped us raise money for such worthy causes and make a real difference to so many. – Mark Dolby, Director, Beaufort Financial

We would like to thank Beaufort Financial for their ongoing support for Berkshire Community Foundation with their charity quiz night. Not only do they support us with fundraising events such as this, but the team at Beaufort really understand the work we do at BCF and how important it is for us to develop relationships with local businesses and professional advisor firms, and as such, they have been hugely supportive with introductions to others who can help us further our work in the local community. The money raised from the quiz will be kick-starting our new ‘Berkshire Uncovered’ campaign focussing on housing and homelessness, barriers to work, and mental health issues in Berkshire.” Jim Fyfe, Philanthropy Director, Berkshire Community Foundation
