It was finally meant to be for our brilliant Beaufort Financial team to conquer the Ark Charity abseiling challenge in Portsmouth on the 13 May.

Our team included 18 fabulous Ark Cancer Centre Charity supporters made up of colleagues, friends and clients of Beaufort Financial. So far, the team has collectively raised more than £2,000, and with more fundraising challenges on the horizon we hope to gain more donations.

Our team’s first attempt at facing the almighty abseil back in April was sadly rescheduled due to high winds, however last weekend saw our determined team return to defeat the challenge.

All 18 of our brave fundraisers abseiled 100 metres down the iconic Emirates Spinnaker Tower and received a well-deserved medal for the achievement.

The team are raising money for Ark Cancer Centre Charity to help them reach their £5million target which will go towards a new cancer treatment centre that will ensure a range of support services and complementary therapies are available alongside chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatments in a calm and uplifting environment.
